An essential thirst-quencher, a wine to share with friends over an apéritif, slightly chilled, with some charcuterie and laughs. On the palate, this Gamay is an explosion of red fruits with lots of freshness and huge drinkability.

100% Gamay, from a 9-hectare parcel, planted on poor, acidic soil with granitic sand. The vines are 16 years old, farmed without chemical fertilizers or pesticides. The grapes are harvested by hand, and carefully sorted. Vinification: semi-carbonic maceration for 4-6 days, without additives. Matured 2 months in vats, unfiltered, with a micro-dose of SO2 at bottling.

Mathieu Lapierre est arrivé en 2005. Mais au domaine Lapierre, il y a d’abord eu le père, Marcel, le pape du vin nature dans le Beaujolais. Marcel nous a quitté en 2010, laissant des Morgons devenus mythiques, dans la lignée de Jules Chauvet, une philosophie du vin nature qui a fait école.
