Another sublime cuvée from Faller. A complex nose with notes of rose, grapefruit peel, white tea and pink peppercorns. A dense attack on the palate, then chiselled, very fine flavours with 28 grams of residual sugar – this is a soft wine, with a pure and elegant finish and zero heaviness.

100% Gewurztraminer, from vines cultivated biodynamically and planted on a marly-limestone terroir at the foot of the Altenbourg hill, on a gentle south-facing slope. Beautiful, over-ripe grapes, handpicked, and at low yields. Vinification: gentle pressing in a pneumatic press, fermentation with indigenous yeasts, 10 months of maturation in old oak barrels.
