Chardonnay - 2018 - Tomoko Kuriyama et Guillaume Bott

A cuvée made with purchased grapes, from organically farmed vines of Chardonnay planted on different terroirs: two thirds of which are in Maranges, and the remaining third in Les Pierres Dorées in the south of the Beaujolais. The plots are meticulously cared for year round by Tomoko and Guillaume, and their team harvests the grapes by hand. Vinification: direct pressing, followed by fermentation in 228- and 600-litre oak barrels, and 10 months of maturation. The wine is very lightly filtered, not fined, and has a microdose of sulphur.
