The wine that convinced me to invite this vigneron to Pur jus. A rich and opulent juice with notes of flowers. Palate: it’s the balance and precision of the wine that first strikes you, followed by its body, freshness, and liquorice finish.

VAT included

A 100% Chardonnay from three parcels – Bon Boire: old, 50-year-old vines; Vaux Debosc: 30-year-old vine; and Arche: 25-year-old vines, grown on a shallow clay soil, near the bedrock. Estate certified organic. Vinification: direct pressing, 50% matured on lees in barrels that have seen 6-7 wines and 50% matured in vats on lees. Sensible sulphite use, with a total of around 50 mg/l.
