Chardonnay planted in the lower part of the village on a clay-limestone soil, facing southeast. Les Reuchaux is located 300 meters from the First Growth Les Perrières, but is just over the water table of the village. The grapes are harvested by hand in small crates. Vinification: direct pressing, fermentation at low temperatures, and 12 months maturation in barrels on the lees. Neither filtered nor fined, and ZERO added sulphur.
Renaud Boyer settled in 2004 in a small wing of his family’s vast domain in Meursault. Today, he is the sole actor on his 3-hectare micro-estate. He inherited vines from his uncle that had already been certified organic and biodynamic since 1986. The parcels are in Saint Romain, Puligny-Montrachet and around Beaune. His wines are made entirely without sulphur, the vinifications are done whole...All wines
