Pinot Noir from vines cultivated biodynamically and planted in 1964 in Gevrey-Chambertin, on a 4.88-hectare parcel of clay-limestone soils over Bresse marls. The grapes are harvested by hand, and yields are kept under tight control. Vinification: the grapes are 100% destemmed, followed by gentle pressing, and 16 months of maturation in barrels. Bottled on December 2018 without fining or filtration and in accordance with lunar cycles.
Cyprien Arlaud embodies the third generation of Domaine Arlaud, a relatively young family estate born in 1942 of the meeting and marriage between the Burgundian Renée Amiot and the Ardéchois Joseph Arlaud. Forty years later, in 1983, their son Hervé Arlaud took over the reins of the vineyard and continued to enlarge it. He initiated numerous changes, and by 2004 the wines of the Arlaud estate...All wines
