A few words from the winemakers: "A nose with notes of red and black fruits; ample and well structured; dense with aromatic complexity. A lingering finish. We are very proud to have produced a Savigny Village of this quality for our first vintage."
Pinot Noir from the Estate's vines, planted on an isolated plot surrounded by forest at an altitude of 350m, just above the Premier Cru "Aux Guettes". Organic farming, with herbal medicine, the soil is plowed by horse (by Melaine, a young horse trained at Chandon de Briailles). Manual harvest, vinification in whole bunches, wetting of the marc with a watering can, punch downs, aging in barrels of several wines for 13 months on fine lees, second winter of aging in stainless steel tank. Not fined, not filtered, just a micro-dose of sulphur.
