A Chardonnay cuvée from vines planted at Champ Caïn, one of Jacquesson’s famous vineyard sites. The 1.3-ha parcel is situated at the bottom of the slope, facing south, and planted in 1962 at a high density with 12000 vines. The soil is composed of clayey, loamy limestone with chalky gravel. The grapes were harvested the 26th of September 2008, and bottled without filtration on the 18th of May 2009. This Champagne was received a dosage of 2.5 gr/l, was aged 9 years in stacks, and was disgorged in April 2018. It is a very rare cuvée, produced only in the greatest vintages.
