Blend: 95% Pinot Meunier and 5% Pinot Noir, from an 8-ha estate farmed biodynamically since 1998 (no chemical fertilisers, no weed killers, etc.) with 30- to 60-year-old vines, planted on clay, silt and marly limestone parcels. This 2012 vintage was vinified in enamelled vats, with partial malolactic fermentation before bottling. Bottled-aged 7 years in stacks. Disgorged in January 2020, with zero dosage, and zero sulphur.
Françoise Bedel, with her son Vincent, cultivates 8 ha of vines in Crouttes-sur-Marne.
