Domaine de Vaccelli
Unu Rosé - 2018 - Nathalie et Gérard Courrèges
A Corsican rosé, yes, but not just any rosé! A nose with very fresh notes of white peach, grapefruit peel, crushed strawberry, apricot sorbet, and hints of flowers... Dense and mouthwatering on the palate, this is a wine of structure and balance, with intensity and length.

A blend of 80% Sciaccarellu and 20% Elegante (the name given to Grenache Noir in Corsica) from vines farmed organically and planted on slopes of sandy granitic soils. The grapes are harvested by hand, and the yields kept low. Vinification: direct pressing, fermentation and maturation in stainless steel tanks on medium-fine lees. 18 months of maturation is a long time for a rosé, but it shows that cuvée is one of the estate’s priorities! Bottled in January 2020.
