An incredibly complex nose with notes of white flowers, peach, orange peel, lemon oil, beeswax, and almonds... The palate is rich, with huge volume balanced by an incredible level of acidity and freshness for this type of wine, and a long finish.

100% Muscat Blanc, from 20-year-old vines farmed organically and planted on clay-limestone soils. These grapes from the 2000 harvest were originally destined for the estate’s sparkling sweet Moscato d’Asti, but all the sugars were transformed into alcohol during fermentation. The result was a dry wine which then naturally developed a veil of yeast over the top, under which the wine was aged for 16 years! Bottled in 2017 without fining or filtration, and just a microdose of sulphur.
