A 100% Frappato cuvée, from a single parcel known as Bombolieri, farmed organically and planted facing the Serra San Bartolo, in the southeast of the island, on 25 cm of light coloured sand over a solid layer of limestone. Arianna works her parcel here with tremendous precision. The winemaker’s vinification here is also as precise as ever, without any additives, maturation in Slovenian barrels that have seen several wines, and just a microdose of sulphur at bottling. 2709 bottles produced.
Arianna Occhipinti organically cultivates 10 ha of vines and 15 ha of olive trees in the south of Sicily, near Vittoria. A dynamic young woman, cheerful and passionate, she’s a pure child of Sicily. Her organic vineyard is planted with Albanello and Zibibbo for the whites, Nero d’Avola and Frappato for the reds.
