Elisabetta Foradori is located in the region of Trentin, in northeast Italy, and brings us her Foradori Granato, the product of respectful, non-interventionist viticulture. This grape variety, Teroldego, is cultivated on alluvial soils, with gravel and pebbles. Granato is the estate’s most concentrated Teroldego cuvée. Vinification: grapes are de-stemmed, macerated in open vats(thus carbonic), and matured 15 months in barrels. New wood is forbidden. A very light dose of sulphites at bottling.
Elisabetta Foradori cultivates 26 hectares nestled amidst the Dolomite Mountains, in Mezzolombardo, on the Campo Rotaliano plain. Her family estate was founded there in 1901 on an exceptional terroir.
