A bland of Barbera and Ruche, two Piedmont grape varieties, from organically frown vines that were havested manually. Also written is 2019/20, since this is a blend of vintages. Natural vinification: harvested by hand, the grapes are fermented with indigenous yeasts in cement vats, macerated for 20 days, and matured 9 months in vats. Zero sulphur used during vinification.
Nadia Verrua is a young Piedmont-born vigneronne based in the region of Asti. Her estate is comprised of 6 ha of vines and 4 ha of hazelnut trees. Since 2001 she has been producing delicate and refined reds from grapes which originated in this part of the Alps.
