Domaine François Rousset Martin
Cuvée 909 - 2018 - François Rousset Martin
The name of this cuvée is a reference to Julien Guillot's Cuvée 909... the founders of the Cluny Abbey (founded in 910) were in fact from Jura! Nose with notes of red berries, and some cherry. Palate: thin and luscious tannins, a lovely gourmandise by François!

100% Pinot Noir from vines planted in 1998 on clay and limestone soils, some brown soils like the ones we can usually find in Burgundy. The whole vineyard is farmed organically and harvested manually. Natural and respectful vinification: destemming, soft maceration in order to obtain an infusion of the grapes more than a forced extraction. No punchdowns, only a few pump-overs in order to impeach the marc cap to get dry. One year of aging in wooden vats. Unfined, unfiltered, zero sulfites added.
