A blended cuvée of 70% Mourvèdre, 20% Macabeu, 5% Grenache gris and 5% Carignan blanc. This is Marc Castan’s brand new cuvée from his négociant business! The vignerons’ same guiding principles have been preserved here: organic grapes, indigenous yeasts, short macerations, very little intervention in the winery and zero sulphur during the entire vinification process. Bottled at the estate in the spring. Decanting is recommended.
Marc Castan lives in Leucate in France’s Aude department. This future enfant terrible was born in Narbonne, where he grew up impassioned by both land and sea. After choosing to study viticulture and oenology, he inherited his grandfather’s vines. So began his adventure in wine, which initially was limited to selling his grapes to the local cooperative.
