The label representing a scarab is a Maori design drawn by Heidi Kuka, Julien’s partner. As the eldest son of Claude Courtois, Julien is determined to take us on a voyage far beyond his native Sologne with this 100% Romorantin cuvée. Vinification: the Courtois DNA is definitely present! A natural wine without compromise, zero chemicals, grapes harvested at full maturity, natural vinification, matured in barrels, bottled in spring 2019, without sulphur!
Julien Courtois, child of the 1976 vintage, is the eldest of two sons born to Claude Courtois, one of the most monumental figures in natural wine.
