Domaine Pierre Olivier Bonhomme
KO In Côt We Trust - 2018 - Pierre Olivier Bonhomme
A nose with notes of blackcurrant, cherry, plum, violet, and cocoa... The palate is smooth and complex (flavours of black cherry, olive, liquorice, pepper...), with beautiful body, tannins softer than one could imagine from Côt/Malbec, and a velvety finish. Decanting is highly recommended.

A 100% Côt cuvée, made from purchased grapes, from vines farmed organically and planted in Thésée in the Cher Valley, on clay-limestone soils. The grapes are harvested by hand and the yields controlled. Vinification: three weeks of maceration in whole bunches, gentle pressing, 12 months of maturation in 500-litre barrels that have seen several wines. No fining, no filtering, and no sulphur!
