Fresh notes of quince, citrus fruits, peach, white flowers, and a touch of minerals. The palate is very rich, with a great deal of substance and intensity, and a long finish – this is very, very good. One of our favourites from our tasting of Pierre-Olivier’s range.

100% Chenin, from vines farmed organically and planted in the commune of Thésée, on clay-limestone soils. The grapes are harvested by hand. Vinification: direct pressing, transfer to barrels that have seen several wines for fermentation. The wine is matured for 9 months. Neither fined nor filtered, with just a microdose of sulphur during racking, about three weeks before bottling at the estate in mid-June of 2019.
