A bouquet in which mineral notes combine with distinctive maritime aromas (seaweed, iodine...), and citrus notes blend into aromas of roots and gentian flowers. The attack is clean and pure, the wine revealing great volume on the mid-palate. Fine, lime-like acidity. Strong saline notes, great freshness, and a beautiful finish.

Never heard of Gros-Plant? Well here’s a 100% natural wine to convince you of this little grape’s big potential. Fred made the excellent decision to reject the consensus view on this often underestimated and mishandled grape, and to rehabilitate its image though care and attention. The vines, certified biodynamic by DEMETER, grow on a plateau of siliceous clay soils over a gneiss subsoil. Hand picking, reception of harvest by gravity, no clarification, indigenous yeasts, maturation on lees in stainless steel vats for 12 months, no fining, no filtration, no sulphur...
