Hervé Villemade

Pinot Noir - 2019 - Hervé Villemade

A nose of red berries, black berries, and hints of iris flowers. Palate: fluid and fine, with well-integrated tannins. A frank Pinot made with good intentions, pure and ultra smooth! Watch out, this is a hot cuvée!

A 100% Pinot Noir cuvée, from vines aged between 21 and 31 years old, cultivated organically and planted on flinty clay soils in the Cher Valley. The grapes were purchased from winegrowers who share a common philosophy, and handpicked using small boxes. Vinification: carbonic maceration of whole grape bunches, followed by gentle pressing, and 6 months of maturation in wooden vats that have seen several wines. Bottled without fining or filtration in March 2020, with just a microdose of sulphur.
