Suspension - 2016 - Olivier Bellanger
A concentrated, rich nose of black fruits, with notes of Amarena cherries... In the mouth: spicy, smooth, with lovely length. This bottle will marry very well with the region’s cheeses – excellent with a soft ash-covered goat cheese.

A Gamay cuvée made from vines grown organically and planted on light flinty clays. The grapes were harvested once overripe, at yields of 20hl/ha. Vinification: whole bunches, indigenous yeasts, a long maceration, 20 days of semi-carbonic fermentation, and just a rough filtration. Vinified without additives, and only a micro-dose of sulphur at bottling.
Olivier Bellanger, child of the '78 vintage, grandson and nephew of vignerons, lives in Monthou-sur-Cher. But since Olivier launched his own estate in 2008, with his first vinifications in 2009,...All wines
