Gamay from Puzelat’s negotiant business. Puzelat buys grapes from growers who share his values (as you’d expect from the vice president of France’s natural wine association). He automatically downgrades his wine classification to Vin de France. This cuvée is matured 4 to 6 months in conical oak vats. Sensible sulphur use for this cuvée.
Jean-Marie and Thierry Puzelat took over the family estate around 20 years ago, 13 hectares in Touraine, in the Loir-et-Cher. Time and a series of encounters would put them on the path to natural wines.
