Blend of Muscat of Alexandria, Torontel, Chasselas and Semillon, from very old vines of an average of 250 years old, ungrafted and never having known chemistry. They are planted on different plots of red clays, in the town of Guarilihue in the center of the country. Manual harvest, four days of maceration in stainless steel vats, soft pressing, six months of maturation in vats on total lees. Not fined or filtered, no added sulfites. To be stored vertically for 24 hours in the fridge before serving, in order to settle the lees.
Louis-Antoine Luyt was born in the Breton coastal city of St Malo some forty years ago. Following a handful of formative viticultural experiences alongside the likes of Philippe Pacalet and Marcel Lapierre, he finally moved to Chili, and settled in Cauquenès, 400 km south of Santiago de Chile.
