A 100% Merlot cuvée, from 10-year-old vines, grown on clay-limestone soils with a subsoil of blue marl. Certified organic since 1997, manual harvest. This cuvée has been named the “le Pétrus Provençal” (the Pétrus of Provence). Vinification: an 8-day maceration in vats of the whole bunches, and a long aging of three years in oak barrels. No fining or filtration, just a tiny dose of SO2. 2719 bottles produced.
