A blend of Grenache noire (60%), Cinsault (15%), Syrah (10%), Mourvèdre (10%) and Vermentino (5%), from mostly 20-year-old vines, planted clay-limestone soils. Vinification: direct pressing for the Grenache, Cinsault and the Mourvèdre, saignée method (light maceration of the skins with the juice) for the Syrah, and a simple press for the Vermentino. Matured 4-8 months in stainless steel vats, neither fined nor filtered, and a sensibly small dose of sulphites.

Guillaume Lefèvre, and Karina, his wife and business partner, are the force behind Domaine de Sulauze, an ecosystem of 31 ha in the hills of Aix-en-Provence.
