Rhône Valley
350 M - 2020 - David Reynaud
Domaine Les Bruyères
A deep, complex nose with notes of blackcurrant, pepper, violet... and finally, as it evolves in the glass, subtle notes of leather. The palate is full bodied and velvety, with silky tannins and a long, luscious finish.

100% Syrah from 20- to 30-year-old vines on a granite plateau in Ardèche at an altitude of 350 metres. Certified organic and biodynamic, with well-controlled yields, around 35 hl/ha. Vinification: 100% de-stemmed grapes, gravity-fed, are vinified over 28-32 days with indigenous yeasts, punching down of the cap, and pressing in a vertical press at low pressure. Fermentation and maturation is done 70% in concrete vats and 30% in demi-muids that have seen several wines. Racked, filtered and bottled on November 10th 2021, with a small dose of sulphur.
