100% Syrah, from 35-year-old vines, certified organic and Biodynamic, grown on the terroir known as Beaumont Monteux, with a well-drained soil of clay-limestone and detrital pebbles. Vinification: total destemming, placed in vats fror about one month of maceration with indigenous yeasts and punching down of cap. Juices are moved by gravity, soft pressing, end of fermentation, and aging for around a year in 1/3 in amphora, 1/3 in egg-shaped cement vats and 1/3 in old barrels. Racked, filtered and bottled with a pinch of sulphur.

David Reynaud, today in his forties, took over the family estate in 2000, and from the beginning, wanted to convert the vineyard to biodynamics. In 2002, he stopped delivering his grapes to the cooperative, which was uninterested in his desire to improve his work methods!
