A blend of 2/3 Cinsault 1/3 Grenache, from 35-year-old vines grown on limestone soils. As Mother Nature was not very kind to Nico a little while back, he looked to this region to purchase grapes, providing him the opportunity for encounters with new terroirs and vignerons. Nicolas has since acquired his own vines in this region. Vinification: carbonic maceration for 9 days, maturation 9 months in vats, 0,8 gr/hl of sulphur during racking.

Nicolas Renaud is a thirty-something winemaker settled since 2007 just next to Tavel, Avignon. His adventure began in 2003 when Nicolas, a disciple of Eric Pfifferling of the Domaine de l'Anglore, decided to trade his career in public education for the hard but liberating profession of a vigneron. Formerly a professor of history and geography, he got trained into his new profession at Domaine...
