Only available in a Magnum, this is a very rare bottle indeed. A profound wine, smooth, round and fruity. A palate that’s out of this world, with extraordinary texture, silky tannins and a saline finish.

A blend of 90% Grenache varietals (3) and 10% Carignan. The vines are 70 years old on an east-facing parcel. A natural winemaker, Bruno has his work cut out for him with his steep terraced parcels. Composed mainly of schist soils, mechanised farming is impossible here, so Bruno can only use a horse for ploughing. Vinification: whole bunches, vinified in barrels, without pumping over the must. Matured 6 months in barrel – only one was produced. This Collioure exists only in magnums, it is THE signature cuvée by Bruno.
Bruno Duchêne, yet another kid from the northern France who headed south for the sunshine of Roussillon. Settling here in 2002 in a middle of a vineyard of vines that were clearly exceptional, but also impossible to work – at least with tractor.
