Clos du Rouge Gorge
Le Col du Loup - 2018 - Cyril Fhal
A wine of incredible finesse, with an ultra-floral nose and a velvety palate... Decidedly one of the most beautiful wines produced at the estate, or in all of Roussillon for that matter. If you manage to lay this down for a few years, you will be well rewarded.

100% Grenache from vines cultivated organically and planted on an east-facing slope with schist soils. The parcel was planted in 2014 only after the soil was painstaking prepared by Cyril over a period of... seven years (!!!!). Needless to say, each vine is pampered individually, and harvested by hand using small crates. The vinification is natural and without additives, followed by maturation in demi-muid barrels, and bottling at the estate in autumn of 2020 with just a microdose of sulphur.
