Clos du Rouge Gorge

Le Rouge et le Blanc - 2019 - Cyril Fhal

A fresh nose with notes of flowers, rose, small red berries, and the exotic aromatics of Muscat. On the palate, the profile is almost that of a white wine, with elegant structure and beautiful length. This cuvée, in its first vintage, has definitely passed the test!

A blend of 75% Muscat Petits Grains and 25% Grenache Noir from vines farmed organically and planted in the Latour-de-France region. The grapes were purchased from winegrowers who share the same values. Vinification is natural and without additives: no maceration, direct pressing of the two grape varieties together, transfer for fermentation into barrels that have seen several wines. Bottled at the estate in June 2020 after 9 months of maturation. Neither fined nor filtered, and just a microdose of sulphur.
