Roussillon
A natural, dry wine, distinguished by its freshness and balance, with notes of melon and nectarine. Palate: this is powerful juice, with lovely balance.... An impressive feat, given the difficulty of vinifying this grape on its own.
A single parcel cuvée, from 100% Grenache Blanc. Young vines planted in 2002, at an altitude of 300 metres. A natural winemaker, Bruno has his work cut out for him with his steep terraced parcels. Composed mainly of schist soils, mechanised farming is impossible here, so Bruno can only use a horse for ploughing. Vinification: direct pressing. Matured 9 months in barrels which have seen several wines. Zero sulphur added.
