Blend of 3 of the estate’s parcels, 70% Merlot, 29% Cabernet Sauvignon and 1% Malbec. The vines are on average 60/70 years old, with some as old as 110! Manual harvests with small crates. Yields: 25 hl/ha. Vinification: cold maceration pre-fermentation for 48 hours, punching down of the cap, maceration 3 weeks in two conical vats, no chaptalisation, no added yeasts, no sulphur. Maturation 24 months indemi-muidbarrels (30% new oak, lightly toasted), with a homeopathic dose of sulphur at bottling. Average production: between 2500 and 4500 bottles a year!
