The Cuvée G, named for a parcel in a sector known as Gravet, 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and Franc, 35% Merlot and 5% Malbec and Petit Verdot. The vines are between 60 and 70 years old! Harvested overripe. Yields: 25 hl/ha. Vinification: cold maceration pre-fermentation for 48 hours, punching down of the cap, maceration 3 weeks in two conical vats, no chaptalisation, no added yeasts, no sulphur. Maturation 24 months intwo Bordeauxbarrels, ZERO sulphur at bottling. Production: 600 bottles!
