A nose of prunes, cherries, and blackberries, with a backbone of spice... The palate is fleshy, structured and elegant, with enough tannins and acidity to ensure fine ageing potential. A quintessential example of natural Bordeaux at its best, and an excellent value to boot!

Blend: 75% Cabernet Sauvignon and 25% Merlot, from vines farmed organically. The Merlot vines at Clos 19 Bis were struck by frost this vintage, thus the ultra low yields of 12 hl/ha. Vincent chose to automatically downgrade his wine and label it Vin de France, but these are the same vines he usually uses for his Graves, and the same winemaking philosophy. Vinified naturally and without additives, each grape variety is macerated and matured separately. Neither fined nor filtered, and just a microdose of sulphur at bottling.
