Gamay from volcanic soils known as Pierre Bleue de Brouilly (the blue stone of Brouilly). The vines are south facing, at 300-metres altitude, aged between 70 and 100 years old. These are living soils, maintained without chemicals or weedkillers, with zero treatment for this vintage!! Harvesting is done by hand to preserve the indigenous yeasts. Vinification: whole bunches, carbonic maceration for two weeks without additives, soft pressing, 10 months of aging in old barrels. Bottled in June 2021 without filtration, zero added sulfur.
