Morgon Cuvée Marcel Lapierre - 2024 - Domaine Lapierre - Magnum
Mathieu & Camille Lapierre
A cult wine! A rare cuvée, a powerful Gamay, gushing with fruit and spice. A concentrated, racy palate with a long finish. You’ll need to be a little patient and let this age in the cellar for a bit.

A top shelf Gamay, certified organic, from the estate’s finest parcels. The vines are more than 100 years old, and farmed without chemical fertilizers or pesticides. The grapes are harvested by hand, and carefully sorted. Vinification: semi-carbonic maceration of 10-21 days, without additives. Matured 12 months in 216-litre barrels, unfiltered, with a micro-dose of sulphur at bottling. Decant this wine 2 hours ahead – imperative!
