Bugey
A harmonious, balanced and structured wine. A beautiful cuvée, fruity and natural with notes of violet and raspberry. As the label suggests, you might just find yourself drinking it straight from the bottle! One litre!
A blend of co-planted vines: 70% Gamay, 30% Mondeuse and various forgotten grape varieties (Peloursin, Gueusche...) The vines are 50 years old and grown on clay-limestone soils from the Bajocian age. Harvested by hand using small crates. Vinification: maceration of whole bunches with indigenous yeasts for 8 days weeks, end of fermentation and maturation in 228-liter and 600-liter barrels for 12 months. Bottled on the 25th of October 2021, without filtration or fining, and ZERO added sulphur!
