1986 - Fins Bois - Cognac Grosperrin
Golden robe with gold reflections. Tight and mineral nose, notes of fresh fruit, mirabelle plum in syrup, apricot. Then quickly, more pregnant and more vegetal notes, then soft spices. The palate is both lively and supple, although the reduction is still noticeable on this first bottling. Clean finish.

This vintage Cognac comes from a small estate in Fins Bois, a very vast terroir (as large in planted area as all of Burgundy!) and very heterogeneous. It was aged in old casks under French authorities control, at ORECO, since its distillation. This Cognac is representative of the Fins Bois from the limestone and noble lands of the appellation, which have nothing to envy to the most prestigious Crus. 284 liters produced, bottled on September 20th, 2018.
