1989 - Fins Bois - Cognac Grosperrin
On the nose, a typical Fins Bois cognac, with slightly sweet, fruity notes (ripe mango, cooked pineapple), with a pleasant salinity. On the attack, this cognac is supple, almost discreet, but very quickly it gains momentum. The palate is as luscious as the nose, the fruitiness is prolonged by spicy notes, which mark the 31 years of aging in barrels. The finish is velvety, very fragrant, it makes you want to pour you another one! An accessible cognac, for lovers of traditional Fins Bois.

A few words from Maison Grosperrin: "This vintage cognac was sold to us by a distillery in Châteauneuf-sur-Charente, which was the intermediary between the winegrower and us. But in reality, this batch comes from a farm located several kilometers away, in Brie-sous-Matha, a village in the heart of one of the most beautiful wine-growing landscapes of Saintonge, on clay-limestone soils. Rich in a wine-growing history of almost a thousand years, this quiet village is renowned for its the quality of its vineyard."
