Saperavi - 2019 - Niki Antadze

Antadze Wines

A floral nose, with notes of hibiscus and cranberry... Palate: this is easy-drinking juice for a Georgian wine, an intriguing cuvée for us! Fruity, with a touch of acidity on the finish. Our palates have no taste references for these wines – they transport us to somewhere else entirely!

100% Sapervi, the emblematic red grape variety of the region, from 20-year-old vines farmed organically and planted in the prestigious Manavi appellation, in the Kakheti region of Eastern Georgia. Fermented in qvevris, these traditional Georgian amphorae buried up to their necks in the ground, followed by 8 months of maturation in the same containers.
