Closeries des Moussis
A complex nose of prunes in brandy and notes of undergrowth... Palate: serious structure, beautiful length and plenty of fruit... A major success for this winemaking duo.

Blended cuvée: 50% Cabernet Sauvignon and the rest Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, Malbec and Carmenère, this is a coplanted parcel, pre-phylloxera vines around 170 years old, on loamy clay soils, with ultra-low yields. Vinification: 3 weeks of maceration, no oenological additives. 16 months of maturation in barrels that have seen several wines. Bottled at the estate in Spring 2022. Micro-dose of sulphur.
Laurence Alias & Pascale Choime
Pascale Choime, a non-conformist to the bone, was a gifted oenologist who worked for a Cru Bourgeois in the Haut-Médoc while moonlighting as an artist and sculptor until she slammed the door on a wine world that has lost its way due to commercial constraints. Laurence Alias was an agricultural engineer whose true passion is for ecology and sustainable development. Her desire to touch the earth...All wines
