La Belle Colline - 2022 - Jérôme François et Morgane Stoquert
La Grange de L'oncle Charles
A great dry and saline white wine, with a complex nose of kumquat, yellow plum, white tea, gunflint... Powerful on the palate, with ample volume and lush body, this bottle is ideally suited to gastronomic pairings.

A blend of Riesling, Muscat, Gewurztraminer, Sylvaner and Pinot Gris from biodynamically-grown vines co-planted on the plot, on the austere limestone terroirs of the Grand Cru Schoenenbourg. Harvested by hand. Natural winemaking: direct pressing, then fermentation and ageing in old barrels for 14 months, on the lees. Bottled at the estate without fining or filtration, just a micro-dose of sulfur during racking.
JÉRÔME FRANÇOIS
Jérôme François settled in Ostheim in 2014. The young carpenter couldn’t resist the call of the vine and started his estate with a few plots from his grandfather and the barn of his great uncle! Late 2017, Jérôme teamed up with Yann Bury. The man grows his vines biodynamically, and works the soil not with a tractor but with two horses, Sirus and Fastochex. A flock of black Ouessant sheep...
