Mille Lieux - 2022 - Jérôme François et Morgane Stoquert
La Grange de L'oncle Charles
A nose with notes of lemon, white flowers, peach, and pineapple... Palate: a sunnier vintage, so a richer juice with beautiful volume, which remains perfectly balanced thanks to the typical tension of Jérôme's wines.

A blend of 13 Alsatian grape varieties, grown on granite, grey and marl limestone, in the villages of Kaysersberg, Ammerschwihr, Zellenberg, Rodern and Ribeauvillé. The vines are farmed according to the principles of biodynamic viticulture. Manual harvest and controlled yields. Vinification: direct pressing, transfer into old barrels so fermentation and maturation for 14 months. Bottled without filtration, a micro-dose of sulphur was added during racking.
JÉRÔME FRANÇOIS
Jérôme François settled in Ostheim in 2014. The young carpenter couldn’t resist the call of the vine and started his estate with a few plots from his grandfather and the barn of his great uncle! Late 2017, Jérôme teamed up with Yann Bury. The man grows his vines biodynamically, and works the soil not with a tractor but with two horses, Sirus and Fastochex. A flock of black Ouessant sheep...
