Amber robe, golden reflections. The nose feels almost austere at first, but aeration allows an incredible aromatic explosion with aromas of liquorice, prune, dried figs, nutmeg, undergrowth. Very complex. Already notes of rancio on the palate (nuts, mushrooms, undergrowth). Lots of character.
Bas-Armagnac 45% Baco, 45% Ugni Blanc and 10% Folle Blanche - 17 years of aging in oak barrels - bottled in April 2023.
