Tomoko et Guillaume

Tomoko Kuriyama and Guillaume Bott form the magical duo of Chanterêves. As a couple both in life and in the vineyard, they established their Maison de vins in 2011, an haute-couture négoce based in Savigny-lès-Beaune, nowadays also an Estate with their own vines. Tomoko is originally from Japan, and was exposed to wines from a very young age, having her father passionate by great Burgundy wines. She left for Germany, where she obtained her oenology diploma, and then directed the winemaking at Weingut Altenkirch. Guillaume is a pure Burgundian child, he studied at the wine-growing school of Beaune, then worked with Gérard Boudot at Etienne Sauzet Estate (focus on Chardonnay!), then at Simon Bize et fils Estate (complete mastery of Pinot Noir!) where he’s been the cellar master. Their common passion for Burgundy led them to embark on the Chanterêves adventure together. Wines with Japanese elegance, German mastery and a great understanding of the Burgundy terroir.
