On notes of cherry, strawberry, oak, tobacco... Palate: the finesse of the tannins is spiced up by a perfectly balanced acidity. A beautiful entry into the matter in order to (re)discover the Domain!
Gilles de Courcel
The Domaine de Courcel encompasses 10.5 ha of vines in the commune of Pommard. Today owned by three sisters and one brother who have followed in their parents’ footsteps, together they carry on the traditions of a family estate which dates back more than four centuries. It is Gilles de Courcel who has been at the head of viticulture and vinification since 1996, assisted by his oenologist Yves Confuron. Cultivated organically, each of the estate’s vineyard parcels are cared for with a watchmaker’s precision, all to fully reveal the potential of each of the different terroirs. Tradition, modernity and excellence are the pillars of this family estate, whose wines have set the benchmark for great Pommard. A reference in the region.
