Sylvain Potin has been the onsite manager of Clau de Nell Estate since 2009, located in Ambillou-Château, Loire Valley, over eight hectares, grown biodynamically since 2000, and taken over by Anne-Claude Leflaive in 2008. Sylvain was hired by Anne-Claude within a few minutes after a walk in the vineyards. Originally from the Angers area, he has extensive experience in the world of wine, from working as a sommelier at prestigious tables, to the marketing of wine and finally as a winemaker, with solid knowledge of biodynamics acquired in Chile and France. Anne-Claude Leflaive, a great name in Burgundy if there ever was one, emblematic winegrower and fervent biodynamicist at Domaine Leflaive, left us in 2015. Today, it is her husband Christian Jacques who perpetuates her philosophy, as best as possible, taking care of the Estate and the team. He was joined by their daughter Claire for the sales and marketing part, who is following in her mother's footsteps with great pleasure.
