A juice that goes off the beaten track with this great blend, nose on notes of stewed blueberries, the palate is luscious, round and powerful, the tannins are definitely there and they bring a great structure, it's more than "canon" (French slang word for hot) !!!
Laurent Bordes
Laurent Bordes is at the head of the Chais du Port de la Lune, and to say that he’s a man who likes to think outside the box would be an understatement! This urban winemaker is first and foremost a trained oenologist, and he refined his practice between the family Estate in Côtes de Bourg, but also in Pomerol or Napa Valley. Between 2003 and 2014, he gathered experiences, before deciding to make his own wine, but not just anywhere... In an apartment on the second floor of a building located in the heart of Bordeaux! The unapologetic urban tone was set, a specificity that is today expressed on a larger scale through the Chais du Port de la Lune, located North of Bordeaux, in a former blockhouse. There, Laurent produces natural wines, super interesting blends thanks to grapes bought to organic winemakers all over France. Making wine where it is drunk, and “illustrating the renewal of the city in an urban and united terroir”, this is a great project in Bordeaux!
